3M is hiring for chemist!!! Shld I apply?

wow finally a "proper" company is hiring ppl(analytical/formulation chemist).. I received this email from my poly lecturer stating that 3M is hiring but positions will only be hired in Nov-Jan... hmm a bit tempted cos i'm going for this ultimate frisbee tournament in early nov this yr.. MANILA!!! n i actually plan to find a job from aug- sept n intending to start work in nov-jan... hmm... but what's pullng me back is whether i'll be happy working in the lab 24/7... maybe i shld try out by submitting my CV and get through the interview first....

haf been browsing thrg the last few posts on my blog... wow.. brought back alot of memories... hmm.. think i shld start blogging actively so i can leave some traces of my memory when i grow older each day..

Since the end of June n beginnning of July, I've been fully booked for training sessions towards the upcoming "SINGAPORE OPEN 2009"... n spending my extra time at work, with frens n Howie!!! I haven been spending time @ home (which i felt quite bad abt it), maybe after OPENS is over i could spend more time w my family frens n most importantly find a permanent job...

SingOpens is jus 2 Weeks more!!!!

jus came back from a "go away MOODY" trip @ lower seletar (yishun ave 1)..

For the entire day, I haven been able to study from 1pm onwards. Suppose to wake up early to study but due to late nite MJ the previous night.. so u noe la... hai~~ Unable to study for the whole day, wat i can only do was stick my butt on the sofa n watched Heroes ep25 + other chinese sitecoms on Channel 8 until 8+pm... unable to take it anymore, i jio SL to meet me!!!! Initially we wanted to watch 17 Again.. but SL was late(as usual=.=|||).. so we decide to go to lower seletar to chill tog w my buddy cum SM, KHEONG!!! haha the THREE of us again... we bought chips n choya!!! n stayed there till 1am.. took photos n talk abt rubbish, the whole nite~~~(like we usually do)

Really happy tt they could accompany me to such "ulu" places in singapore n the most imprt thing is SL gt her car to bring us there!!! hahah.. thnks gal~~~ MUACKzzZZz~~!!!!

Finally get to drink today~~!!! Was out the whole day with SB to shop for her V-day present for her beloved Chris from ~4-9pm.. Ate our dinner at Waraku (satisfied)n later to MS to met up w adrienne. didnt join them to drink at clarke quay cos meeting didi. Jus gt home from serangoon gardens after chilling for like ~5hrs.. wow~ it's damn freaking long... we drank 1 bucket of 5 Coronas @ LIquid Kitchen n left to take a walk. After 1hr we r back again for more BEERSSSssSSS... haha..Drank freaking lot of beer today, abt 1.2-1.5 Litres.. broke my own record..

Was suppose to mug but cant really concentrate as NUS science lib is freaking cold after the rain finish pouring outside. Regret for not bringing a thicker sweater. *sad* Hai~~ 懒得去管. Suddenly hav a urge to go clubbing today. *i'm insane* dunoe y jus very gian to drink n get high(tis is the fun part) haha~~~

Braces ON!!!!

haha.. yes.. at the age of 23 going on to 24, i'm putting on braces after 5 yrs of considerations. Today (5th feb 09) is the day when i put on my braces.. yea.. will need to get use to the feeling of having stainless steel in my mouth for another 2 yrs... Initially when the doc tighten the wire i dun feel any pain. but now i can feel tt my teeth is getting lose n it start to hurt when i try to bite or push it. And the best thing is i ate fried calamari for dinner. In the beginning, i thought it is okay for me to bite but the first bite on the calamari is nt gd. i start to feel pain n uncomfortable.. ouch!!~~~ can still recall lolx... btw hope it wont get worse if not i will be on diet.. haha..

Jus came home after watching "The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons". It is a great movie n most importantly Brad Pitt is so " yan dao", OMG!!!.. ppl shld really catch it in cinema soon. Heard over Yes 933 today tt it is showing in cinema today n start to jio frens to watch. I wanted to watch it by myself initially but i missed the 1205pm timeslot.. so sian lo... hmm.. next time i shld try watching movie alone. shld be quite an experience. haha..

Haven been able to blog for the past 17 days. Super busy with sch, activities w frens, trainings + pickups n most of all CNY preparations lar... Suddenly felt like blogging although i hav to finish my reprt by TONITE but cos i think i had bottled too much stuff in my brain which i've been pondering abt it for quite a while.

For the past few days, i've been having fun before sch starts. Packed myself with lots of activities like going for club n sch ultimate frisbee trainings n most importantly KTV w frens.. *Delighted*

现在:

Jus came back from movie w old frens[adr,weilun,sb] n new frens[chris,aloysius] @ AMK Hub. We watched "All's Well End's Well 2009".. was quite a funny show lar.. but nt worth watching it in cinema.. think DVD or VCD will be gd enuff le. Before that i went to my relative hse to met up with my "long time no see" cousins, uncles n aunties. One of my cousin did some mathematics stuff for me which can help to see whether the person i like will be compatible w me. n the answer is "ok loh" haha.. =.=|||
Nowdays, i have been thinking too much on this kind of stuff which i think i shouldnt be cos it's quite irritating sometimes... hai~~~

未来:

I'll be graduating soon this coming june holidays. Felt uneasy n unsure abt my life journey ahead. Shld i go into the society??? Or shld i go NIE n become a teacher???? wahaha!!!! The thing is i cant imagine myself to be a teacher asking primary sch kids to behave themselves n i wouldnt be sure whether it is the rite year to step into society n whether i would wan to work as a chemist... lots n lots of qns have been going thrg my mind. Where shld i go n wat shld i do? Or i shld jus focus on studies now.......

Finally had by threading done today at browhaus.wheelock before meeting XY to shop @ Far East. Met up with CHIP gers @ MS's MOF(Ministry of Food).*haha* Only heard of MOS but nt MOF. I was quite surprise tt it is a Japanese restaurant! The main course(Spicy Raman:$9.80) was alrite. But the desserts r great!! Especially Macha Red Bean n Mango Ice. Must try x 2!! *haha* Will be there again tmr for dinner.

How inefficient can one person/people be...

I'm wondering why do ppl who r suppose to do anything aren't doing anything instead they always pushing their responsibilities away to others who r nt suppose to be involved. There's lots of problems in this current NUS ultimate team (Muddy Grass). Ppl nt coming for training, ppl nt eager to put in effort into the team, ppl pushing responsibilities around, ppl sitting around n do nothing, ppl who doesnt even care abt the teams future, ppl having conflict interest. I felt like i need to do something *argh the thinker thing again* but shld I? Why shld I be the one always giving ppl solutions/ ideas towards the situation tt ppl around me? why cant i jus keep quiet? but if i didnt give any solutions/ ideas of mine to a person who needs it, it seems to me like i'm a self-fish person or i dun care abt the person. This is so contradicting. Dont ppl noe how to solve the problem themselves or simply tt they dun even care n wasnt bothered by the problem? How i wish i can be this kind of ppl who can jus stick around when there's gd weather n leave when thunderstorms coming. But shldnt ppl remember the gd weather n hope tt they can go thrg the thunderstorms together to achieve something more meaningful thrg the thunderstorm? I jus hate clearing the mess when others arent doing anything abt it. At least if there's someone who felt the same way as me, we can work together n work together. But the qns is, is there really someone in the team who is thinking the same as i do? *Doubts*

Was suppose to send my winter coats to laundry today but was too lazy. Hai~ I MUST go tmr...

AFTERNOON:

Went for NUS Ultimate (Muddy Grass) training @ BTC campus. Attendance was like shit cos only 7 ppl turn up including me. Training wasn't productive n efficient. Was feeling quite 无聊 there. =,=

SUPPER:

Had a really great talk with anand(Lecturer) cheryl n peter at Holland V N.Y.D.C abt dominating/submissive character n whether u made decisions thrg thinking(logically) or emotionally. We also talked abt BGR n how these characters above affects. It was really an enriching supper for me.. haha..
